Ray DeGroote joined a group from the Electric Railroaders' Association, New York, last May for their trip to the three Benelux countries--The Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg. They visited ten tram systems and eight tram or railway museums in two and a half weeks. See how they did it.
Included were riding the last PCC cars running in regular service as well as much new equipment. The group also rode a relatively new system and a rebuilt system as well, and attended the 150th Anniversary Parade of public transit in Gent, Belgium.
We will also have a short newscast preceding the regular program.
