The RelationshipCertain issues of Trolley Sparks do not bear the CERA name; yet others do. Also, some early CERA Bulletins bear the notation Trolley Sparks. What is the connection? Not all details are available, but this is known: CERA Member Barney Neuberger was the original editor of his own publication called Trolley Sparks, while CERA Member George Krambles was editor of the CERA Bulletins. Trolley Sparks was more newsy while the Bulletins became more single-subject oriented. Sometime along the way Barney began working with George and they dropped the Trolley Sparks numbering all together, but not the name. The name continued to be used by CERA until 1956. It would appear that Trolley Sparks as a separate publication lasted from 1944 through January 1947 with those published beginning August 1945 being issued by CERA. Here are some further details:
